Key Components of WEP's Nursing Support Services Include the Following:

On-Site & Home Nursing Support for Clinical Trials

  • Provide on-site nursing staff at research sites to assist with patient assessments, study procedures, and protocol adherence.
  • Offer home healthcare services to improve patient retention by reducing the need for frequent site visits.
  • Conduct remote patient monitoring and follow-ups for decentralized and hybrid clinical trials.

Patient Recruitment & Retention Support

  • Assist in patient identification, pre-screening, and enrollment to enhance recruitment efficiency.
  • Provide patient education on trial participation, ensuring informed consent and adherence.
  • Help improve patient retention through personalized care and follow-ups.

Study Procedure Administration & Data Collection

  • Conduct protocol-specific procedures such as:
    – Blood draws and sample collection
    – Drug administration (IV, oral, and injectable treatments)
    – Vital sign monitoring and physical assessments
    – ECG, spirometry, and other diagnostic testing
  • Ensures accurate data collection and reporting for regulatory and sponsor compliance.

Site Coordination & Investigator Support

  • Work closely with investigators, study coordinators, and clinical research associates (CRAs) to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Provide training for site staff on study procedures, protocol adherence, and GCP compliance.
  • Assist in adverse event (AE) and serious adverse event (SAE) identification, reporting, and follow-up.

Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT) & Telemedicine Support

  • Support virtual and hybrid trial models by conducting home visits and telehealth consultations.
  • Facilitate remote monitoring, medication adherence, and electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs).
  • Increase patient accessibility and diversity by reducing site visit burdens.
