OUR POLICY
At WEP Clinical, we are fully committed to conducting business with integrity and upholding ethical standards across all aspects of our operations. We prioritize the implementation of robust systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery, human trafficking, and any form of exploitation do not occur within our organization or our supply chains.
We follow a strict selection process for vendors, guided by our Vendor Management Process. These policies explicitly prohibit engaging with vendors that exploit individuals or violate human rights. All WEP Clinical employees are expected to adhere to the company's core values, as outlined in our Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook, Global Anti-Corruption Policy, and reinforced through mandatory annual training. These documents set forth our standards on ethical behavior, including equal employment, non-discrimination, zero tolerance for violence and harassment, and protections for whistleblowers reporting misconduct.
Training on ethical conduct is an essential part of the employee onboarding process at WEP Clinical. Additionally, key departments receive targeted training based on role-specific risks. All employees undergo regular annual training, and new or updated training is provided as necessary to ensure ongoing awareness and compliance with our ethical standards.
Through these measures, WEP Clinical remains vigilant in the fight against modern slavery and committed to ensuring a fair, respectful, and humane workplace for all.
Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act of 2015 requires certain companies doing business in the UK to publish a statement on the efforts they have taken to prevent modern slavery from occurring within their business and their supply chains. In compliance with this Act, WE Pharma dba WEP Clinical, on behalf of itself and its affiliates, publishes this statement for the current financial year ending December 31st, 2024.
