Mesothelioma cancer is a rare cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Asbestos is a mineral that was once used in practically anything from household items to military aircraft carriers for its heat-resistant properties. Since its harmful effects have been known, the use of asbestos has been heavily regulated, however, due to its latency period of 20-50 years after exposure, many new cases are still developing and being diagnosed.

The Mesothelioma Center is a 100% free service and resource center that offers support for sufferers of mesothelioma and their families. These free resources include an abundance of information on everything asbestos and mesothelioma and 1-1 consultation with the Center’s Patient Advocates who are there to guide you through your process and find local treatment centers and support groups for you.
