As part of these efforts, WEP has recently partnered with Wren Healthcare (Wren), a UK-registered healthcare provider founded by clinical nurse specialists, to provide companies across the UK with COVID-19 antibody testing services.
As the UK government begins to ease the nationwide lockdown measures, in the coming weeks, businesses may begin to allow non-essential workers back into offices and other work facilities. To protect the health and safety of these workers, WEP can provide companies CE-marked antibody tests, which detect if a person has had COVID-19 and has, therefore, generated an immune response.
The test can be carried out at a company’s workplace and administered by a registered nurse. The test involves a small sample of blood being collected from the tip of the finger, and results are made available within 10 minutes. The results of these tests can help companies implement an effective and safe return to work strategy.
